But since there is a beautiful waterfall right next to our campsite &#8211; <strong>Stj\u00f3rnarfoss<\/strong> shall be first to see. It is a small waterfall just north of the town of Kirkjub\u00e6jarklaustur, the river Stj\u00f3rn flows through the Stj\u00f3rnarsandur canyon and after graceful tumble down a rocky ledge it joins V<strong>atnaj\u00f6kull National Park<\/strong> &#8211; some unnamed, others famous &#8211; if only we see it from a distance (<strong>Svartifoss<\/strong> and\u00a0 glacial lagoons starting with smaller <strong>Fjalls\u00e1rl\u00f3n<\/strong> lagoon at the foot of <strong>Fjallsj\u00f6kull<\/strong> glacier &#8211; area made famous by being movie sets of James Bond and other movies. <strong>J\u00f6kuls\u00e1rl\u00f3n<\/strong> to the ocean to look for diamonds &#8211; as this is part of famous diamond beach &#8211; a strip of black sand where broken icebergs can be occasionally found. Unfortunately this time there are only small pieces of ice here and there so it&#8217;s time to join in another Zodiac cruise &#8211; this time over J\u00f6kuls\u00e1rl\u00f3n towards the head of the <strong><a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Brei%C3%B0amerkurj%C3%B6kull\">Brei\u00f0amerkurj\u00f6kull<\/a><\/strong> glacier. <strong>Vestrahorn<\/strong> &#8211; which at first seems uninteresting in the foggy evening light &#8211; but on the way we spot a herd of reindeer &#8211; and to a little pond with a waterfall
