W uj\u0119ciu Nickel\u2013Strunz (Strunz-Mindat 2025) dzia\u0142 1.C dzieli si\u0119 na trzy podgrupy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>1.CA \u2013 \u201eArsenic group elements\u201d<\/strong> (m.in. arsen As, antymon Sb, bizmut Bi, stibarsen AsSb oraz rzadko fosfor rodzimy P\u2084),<\/li>\n<li><strong>1.CB \u2013 \u201eCarbon-silicon family\u201d<\/strong> (np. grafit C, diament C, lonsdaleit C, krzem rodzimy Si)<\/li>\n<li><strong>1.CC \u2013 \u201eSulfur-selenium-iodine\u201d<\/strong> (siarka rodzima S\u2088, selen Se, tellur Te, jod I\u2082)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Minera\u0142y tej grupy najcz\u0119\u015bciej wykazuj\u0105 kowalencyjny charakter wi\u0105za\u0144, s\u0105 kruche do \u0142amliwych, o po\u0142ysku od metalicznego (As, Sb, Bi) po \u017cywiczny\/szklisty (S\u2088), i maj\u0105 zr\u00f3\u017cnicowan\u0105 przewodno\u015b\u0107 (grafit \u2013 bardzo dobry przewodnik, diament \u2013 izolator). Wyst\u0119puj\u0105 w szerokim spektrum \u015brodowisk: od utwor\u00f3w wulkaniczno-sedymentacyjnych (siarka), przez \u017cy\u0142y hydrotermalne (As, Sb, Bi), po ska\u0142y ultrazasadowe i meteoryty (krzem rodzimy bywa zwi\u0105zany z materia\u0142em kosmogenicznym).
